Pearson's SALTED NUT ROLL was introduced in 1933 at the height of the Depression and soon changed its name to the Choo Choo Bar in an effort to distinguish it from copycat nut rolls. Eventually the Choo Choo name was dropped and Pearson's name was prominently displayed in its place on the wrapper.

A creamy nougat center surrounded in a layer of sweet caramel and then covered in fresh salted Virginia peanuts - a unique sweet-salty combination flavor.
